However in all honesty it's usually the family dog, although we've had our share of cats, but cats are really a law to themselves. Pets are part of your way of life and, just like all of us they have a limited life. Get them photographed while they are still in their prime.
Either in your lounge or the garden or on location - it's no problem. You may even want to have them photographed with the kids or as part of the family. It's your choice.
